POV Season 30 Films Last Men in Aleppo, Motherland and Upcoming Season 31 Film Quest Nominated in Best Documentary Category
Los Angeles, Calif. — Nov. 21, 2017 — Three POV films have been nominated for the 2018 FIlm Independent Spirit Awards, announced today by Film Independent. Last Men in Aleppo (POV 2017), Motherland (POV 2017) and Quest (POV 2018) were given a nod in the Best Documentary category, as were Faces Places and The Departure. Founded in 1984, the awards showcase is dedicated to narrative and nonfiction work by independent filmmakers. All prizes go to the filmmakers.
Winners, who are selected by Film Independent Members, will be announced at the Spirit Awards on Saturday, March 3, 2018. The awards ceremony co-hosted by Nick Kroll and John Mulaney will be held on the beach in Santa Monica, California. The show will broadcast live exclusively on IFC at 5:00 p.m. ET.

Last Men in Aleppo

Motherland

QUEST
