David Fenster has directed two feature films, Trona (2004) and Pincus (2012) as well as several documentary and experimental shorts. His films have shown at festivals and museums including the Museum of Modern Art, the Sundance Film Festival, the Viennale and the Los Angeles Film Festival. Pincus won the New Directors Award at the Starz Denver Film Festival and was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award. Wood (2006) won Best Documentary Short at the Los Angeles Film Festival. David has taught film and video courses at the University of California, San Diego, and the California Institute of the Arts. He received a B.A. from the University of Florida and an MFA from the California Institute of the Arts.
