Filmmaker Bio

Mylene MorenoMylène Moreno runs her own production company, Souvenir Pictures, in her native Los Angeles. A graduate of Stanford University's documentary program, Moreno worked on The Hunt for Pancho Villa, which screened on PBS' The American Experience series, and produced the first episode of the PBS series, Chicano! History Of The Mexican American Civil Rights Movement. She also produced Cormac's Trash, a tongue-in-cheek "search" for reclusive writer Cormac McCarthy, and directed the educational short, Maribel. She just completed a cultural program about Los Angeles for The American Experience.
