Election Protection 365
In the 2000 presidential elections, millions of votes were never counted. Voters
in minority communities were disproportionately disenfranchised through illegal
disqualification, intimidation and faulty voting machines. The nonpartisan Election
Protection 365 coalition is working to prevent this from happening again. Get involved to insure fair access to the polls on Election Day 2008.

Justvote.org is a simple, easy-to-navigate site with just one goal: to get people
to register to vote. Register here to vote in any state or with an absentee ballot.
The site also lists election dates, polling places, and has a "tell a friend
to vote" feature.
Project Vote Smart
It's not enough just to vote — you have to know who and what you're voting for.
Project Vote Smart's mission is to inform the electorate, and their Website
does exactly that. Look up biographical information, campaign finances, issue
positions, voting records, and public statements of officials as well as candidates running for office
in your state. And of course, learn all the nitty gritty details
about registering to vote in your state.
