Join the Peter White Public Library for a free screening of Raising Bertie. As part of their monthly DocuMonday film series, the Peter White Public Library aims to present an informative and thought-provoking documentary on issues facing African Americans.

Raising Bertie Conversation Starters:

The head of the traditional public school says, “The role of teachers in an environment like this is to be dream makers. They help you to go down paths that maybe even your parents can’t help you to go down.” Have you had any teachers who were “dream makers” for you? What did they do that made a difference?
