His operatic and theatrical productions range from Wagner's "Ring" in Stuttgart and Verdi's "Otello" in Brussels to the National Theater of Czechoslovakia's "King Lear" and "Gypsy" for Robert Redford's Sundance Theater Institute. Finn worked previously in film as a lighting consultant for the stage scenes in Martin Scorsese's "The Age of Innocence" and for Twyla Tharp's "In the Upper Room."

Robert Moses, writer, producer, publisher, and musician, has been involved in numerous projects focusing on film and music. He has created narrative and documentary television series, the AMC Classic Movie Companion, A&E Network's Entertainment Almanac, and "You Stand There," a book on music videos. Moses was also the bass player in Kustomized, a Matador Records act.

David Hess is a sculptor and furniture-maker, whose work has been widely exhibited in New York, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and Baltimore, where he lives. Hess's public commissions include a 90-ton outdoor sculpture at the Baltimore Museum of Industry and numerous architectural elements at the American Visionary Museum in Baltimore. It was Hess who heard an interview with Art Arfons on National Public Radio in 1988 and got the idea to do a film based on Arfons.
