As you know, POV films are documentaries with a point of view. In the case of The Reckoning, filmmakers Paco de Onís, Pamela Yates and Peter Kinoy made their film as part of a larger initiative they are involved with that aims to raise public awareness of the International Criminal Court and international justice. They are interested in gauging the impact of The Reckoning on public opinion about the ICC. Q&A with Christine Chung
Chung, featured prominently in The Reckoning, is the first senior trial attorney to work in the office of the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC). She directed the investigation that led to the issuance of the first ICC arrest warrants in Uganda, participated in the Darfur investigation and led the investigation in the Congo that resulted in the case Prosecutor v. Germain Katanga and Mathieu Ngudjolo Chui. She answered some of our questions via email earlier this month.
