Untitled ("We will slam them with our wings")

Brooke Anderson (inset)"We're standing in front of and looking at one of Henry Darger's important scroll paintings exhibited at the American Folk Art Museum. To enter into Henry Darger's world is to really embrace mystery and also extraordinary talent. At age of 19, he started writing a novel that ended up being 15,000 pages long. That 15,000 page manuscript in the museum's collection was eventually accompanied by over 300 illustrations created on paper with watercolor, pencil, carbon tracing and collage."
