WILLIAM WOYS WEAVER
Food Historian, Author and Gardener
William Woys Weaver is a well-known food historian and author who has devoted
nearly 30 years of research into the the origins of American cookery and the
traditional kitchen garden. He maintains the Roughwood Seed Collection, consisting
of some 2,000 varieties of vegetables, herbs and flowers. Through the Seed
Savers Exchange, he has supplied seeds and plants to historic gardens world-wide.
