- Project VoiceScape: Meet Filmmakers Mohamed Gardner and Imani Peterkin
Imani Peterkin and Mohamed Gardner (of Albany, NY) are Project VoiceScape's youngest filmmaking grant winners. Their documentary Seeds of Hope, which tells the story of a woman who built an inner-city garden in response to gun violence, is being completed at Youth FX with the guidance of award-winning filmmaker Musa Syeed (Bronx Princess).
- Project VoiceScape: Meet Filmmaker Matthew Seife
Matthew Seife, of Scarsdale, N.Y., is one of 22 teens awarded a Project VoiceScape filmmaking grant. Matthew is working with mentor Yoni Brook (Bronx Princess) to complete Little Steps, a documentary about a baseball league for children on the Autism spectrum.
