Good news doc lovers! POV is pleased to announce streaming of many of its documentaries up for Emmy awards this year, including the four POV films that are up for Best Documentary!

We are humbled this morning to have received a record 16 nominations in the 33rd News and Documentary Emmy Awards, including four nominations for Best Documentary.

Your votes will determine the People's Choice Winner in PBS's first-ever Online Film Festival! In the animated film Flawed, a woman is uneasy about beginning a relationship with a plastic surgeon.

PBS announced today that it will launch its first Online Film Festival, showcasing of 20 short films from independent filmmakers. The selections include five POV short films: Seltzer Works, The Archive, This Gay and Age, Flawed, and 34x25x36.

Each Friday, we share a selection of comments relating to the week's documentary broadcast. This week, viewers watched POV Short Cuts, a one-hour collection of documentary shorts by established and emerging filmmakers.
