Featured Event: Film Fanatics Movie Group, 'Biblioburro', With the Calabasas Library

The Calabasas Library‘s film group, Film Fanatics, is hosting a free screening of Biblioburro. The group meets every month to hold screenings and discuss the film in order to expose their patrons to educational and thought provoking films.

Biblioburro Conversation Starters:

At one point, Soriano hands out a book that also has a companion CD, though he knows that no one in the village currently has a computer. What difference do resources make in terms of creating educational opportunities? In particular, what difference could computers and internet access make (positive and negative)?
