Join the University of Cincinnati Center for Film and Media Studies for a free screening of Special Flight. For more information, visit their facebook page.

The Center for Film & Media Studies promotes film and media studies and production at the university and around Cincinnati. As part of a series on European migration, the Mini Microcinema will host a screening of Special Flight, related shorts and a discussion of the issues.

Special Flight Conversation Starter: Geordry asks, “Why are people who are not criminals deprived of their freedom?” He notes that this is particularly puzzling in a democratic country that prides itself on valuing freedom and human rights. How would you answer him?

For more prompts for discussion, download the Special Flight Discussion Guide.

Visit our local events calendar for a full list of events happening across the country and join our Community Network to host a screening of your own!
