Don’t Tell Anyone (No Le Digas a Nadie)
by Mikaela Shwer

Join the Dream Resource Center and the UCLA Downtown Labor Center for a free screening of Don’t Tell Anyone, in honor of Immigrant Day. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Angy Rivera. For more information, call (818)284-2026.

Don’t Tell Anyone (No Le Digas A Nadie)’s Conversation Starter: Angy’s friend Juliana observes, “In the movement like this, you have to be upfront with your story because there’s so many news media and people already telling others what we are like, and it’s important to put a real face, like listen, ‘I am a human. This term undocumented that you’re using, like, that’s me.’” What have you learned from media about undocumented immigrants? In what ways did the film confirm or counter that portrayal?

For more prompts for discussion, take a look at the Don’t Tell Anyone (No Le Digas A Nadie) Discussion Guide.
