POV kicked off the new year with Don’t Tell Anyone (No Le Digas a Nadie) screening to a packed house at Brooklyn Museum‘s first Target First Saturdays of 2016. Film subject Angy Rivera joined us for a post-screening Q&A with her sister, Gabriela making her Q&A debut. Photos from the event are on our Flickr and make sure to follow Angy on Twitter at @AskAngy for her perspective on issues affecting undocumented students.

Free Target First Saturdays programming continues at Brooklyn Museum with engaging and eclectic free art and entertainment programs every month (except September), from 5 to 11 p.m.

Did you know that you can submit a proposal for a Target First Saturdays presentation, performance or activity? Visit the Brooklyn Museum’s website for more information about how to get involved.

Visit our local events calendar for a full list of events happening across the country and join our Community Network to host a screening of your own!
