About the NIAD Art Center: NIAD’s visual art program promotes meaningful independent living by artists with disabilities, presenting their work as they explore and redefine contemporary art. Each individual artwork at NIAD is an original piece of contemporary art that tells a story from the perspective of an artist with disabilities. Engaging and entrancing, the artworks presented at NIAD have become a highlight of the Richmond arts scene, and has received recognition from the artistic community on a national level.

Art and Craft Conversation Starter: Responding to a question about why he’s never been prosecuted, Mark Landis say, “Cause I didn’t do anything wrong or illegal.” His actions don’t seem to be illegal. Are they wrong?
