Art and Craft

by Sam Cullman and Jennifer Grausman; co-directed by Mark Becker

Join Bay County Public Library for a free screening and discussion of Art and Craft. The event is part of a new library program called Beyond the Lens: Book and Film Series.

If just screening the movie isn’t enough for you art aficionados, the movie will follow a “Create Van Gogh’s Starry Night” activity. So not only can you witness Mark Landis’ skill and talent, but you can see if you yourself could give him a run for his money. For more information, call the library at 850-522-2100.

Art and Craft Conversation Starter: Landis’ intentions certainly don’t appear malicious, and Landis describes getting carried away by the feeling of goodwill when giving his works away to museums (so much so that it became an addiction for him). But if those works were forged and not what Landis professed them to be, was he engaging in an act of philanthropy?

Visit our local events calendar for a full list of events happening across the country and join our Community Network to host a screening of your own!
