We are now accepting applications for the next POV Hackathon, the weekend laboratory that since 2012 has provided matchmaking and mentorship for visionary nonfiction media makers and inventive technologists as they create prototypes that re-invent the documentary for the web.

POV Hackathon 7 will take place in New York City the weekend of November 8-9, 2014.

Applications for media makers and technologists is Tuesday, October 7, 2014, at midnight ET / 9 PM PT. Apply now or read more.

POV Hackathon has had a 100% prototype production rate, and teams have often continued to work together, premiering finished products at high-profile events such as the Tribeca Film Festival and the New York Film Festival, while other teams have attracted new funding, from organizations such as the Knight Foundation. Fast Company recently called POV Hackathon one of 2014’s “most anticipated events.” Don’t miss your chance to participate!
