A Marriage to Remember from The New York Times, produced by The Genius of Marian filmmaker Banker White

When his mother, Pamela White, was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease at the age of 61, Banker White began filming.

In this Op-Doc from The New York Times, White tells the story of his parents’ 40-year marriage through their recollections, home videos and photographs. As his father, Ed, grapples with his changing role in their life together, from primary partner to primary caregiver, White captures the struggle to hold on to the memory of what their marriage once was, while adapting to what it has become.
