Want a behind-the-scenes look into the creation of interactive documentaries? Volunteer for POV Hackathon!

POV Hackathon is a weekend documentary lab that Fast Company recently called one of 2014’s “most anticipated events.” In May 2014, 11 teams of visionary nonfiction media makers and inventive technologists will be creating prototypes that “re-invent the documentary for the web.”

POV Hackathon 5 (May 10-11, 2014) will take place in New York City at The Center for Social Innovation.

POV Hackathon 6 (May 17-18, 2014), which marks the first time the non-fiction technology lab has been based in Los Angeles, will take place the following weekend at Hub LA in partnership with CreatorUp!, Hub LA and the International Documentary Association.

Email hackathon[at]pov.org and let us know if you’d like to volunteer in New York or Los Angeles.
