Premiere Parties can be big or small, fancy or casual.  Here are some Brooklyn Castle Premiere Party plans from POV viewers:

  • “Lots of food, 10 friends and the theme is Brooklyn which is where we are all from!”
  • “I would like to invite our After School Parents as well as other parents/guardians. We are on a limited budget since we are a Title I school.”
  • “Chess kids from the area chess club…no movie premier is complete without a pizza & popcorn.”
  • We are an After-school program…in Williamsburg/Bed Stuy.We service 150 families with students in grades K-5th. I was surprised that many people in our community were not aware of the triumphs of a program very similar to ours.  This would be either a pre/post event to support our “Lights On After-School” carnival which advocates for After-school funding/outcomes. Besides sharing a local story this exemplifies the importance of youth development, this will also be a informational meeting for parents who are interested in planning a large children’s march for issues that youth face in the NYC. Our Chess specialist will also be running demonstrations and games for families. And if possible we’d like to invite our community partners.”

Premiere Party winners will also receive organic popcorn from Quinn Popcorn, Fair-Trade and organic dark chocolate from Divine Chocolate and Fair-Trade, organic and shade-grown coffee from Grounds for Change, plus a POV reusable tote bag.

ALL entries will also be eligible for the Grand Prize!
