Ai Weiwei: The Fake Case by Andreas Johnsen

Join the Napa County Library for a free screening of Ai Weiwei: The Fake Case as part of Docu-Nights, a series of monthly documentary showings. The event will be held at the McCarthy Library, in Napa Valley College. Docu-Nights seeks to facilitate conversation on various topics, and a discussion following the showing will feature questions about the political climate of China.

Ai Weiwei: The Fake Case Conversation Starter: How does “muzzling” an artist, silencing or censoring art, actually contribute to the popularity of said art or artist? How can silence be rejected by protesters?

For more prompts for discussion, download the Ai Weiwei: The Fake Case discussion guide.
