The International Documentary Challenge is now in its 9th year. Filmmakers from all over the world world have 5 days to make a short non-fiction film. The top 12 films, determined by a panel of judges, will premiere at Hot Docs in Toronto, the largest doc film festival in North America.

This competition allows film students, emerging filmmakers and seasoned pros the opportunity to make a great documentary in just 5 days and to compete to win cash prizes, free services, and the chance to screen at festivals! The final registration deadline for the 2014 Challenge is February 15, 2014.

Presenting Partners include Hot Docs, POV, Documentary Educational Resources, Video Blocks, Documentors and The Audience Awards.
