
The Reckoning
In honor of International Human Rights Day on December 10 and the creation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights 63 years ago, the Cedar Valley, Iowa, chapter of the United Nations Association (UNA) will be hosting three screenings of The Reckoning at various locations throughout the Cedar Falls/Waterloo metropolitan area. Each screening will be followed by a facilitated discussion.
Iowa UNA is a state-wide organization providing grassroots support for the United Nations system and is committed to creating a globally engaged Iowa. Iowa UNA is an affiliate of the UNA-USA and has chapters across Iowa.
Co-sponsors of this exciting screening series include Waterloo NAACP, UNI-STAND, the Peace and Justice Center of the Cedar Valley, Iowa Peace Network, UNI Center for Holocaust and Genocide Education, Waterloo Commission on Human Rights, the Black Hawk-Bremer League of Women Voters, and the Cedar Falls Commission on Human Rights.
