POV has received a record 12 nominations in the 32nd Annual News & Documentary Emmy® Awards! Three POV films, Food, Inc., The Oath and Presumed Guilty, garnered multiple nominations including Best Documentary. Five other films received nominations: the feature-length Good Fortune, Off and Running, Wo Ai Ni (I Love You) Mommy and the shorts The Archive and the StoryCorps Animated Series. PBS received 32 nominations in total.

“We are living in a golden age of documentary filmmaking and we are humbled that the Academy has recognized POV films and filmmakers with such outstanding honors this year,” said Simon Kilmurry, executive producer of POV. “These are films that take passion, courage and tenacity to make, and they are proof that the work of independent documentary filmmakers actually can make a difference.”
