Teen filmmaker Emileigh Potter of San Antonio, Texas, was awarded a Project VoiceScape grant this year. Her documentary The DREAMER, which highlights an "illegal" immigrant who aspires to live the American Dream, is now in production under the mentorship of Jeremy Levine, producer/editor of the Emmy-nominated Good Fortune.
- Project VoiceScape: Meet Filmmaker Madena Henderson
Madena Henderson, of Troy, N.Y., is one of 22 teens awarded a Project VoiceScape filmmaking grant. Madena is working with mentor Angela Tucker (Election Day) to complete The Have and the Have Nots, a documentary she hopes will encourage teens with financial difficulties to hold on to their college dreams.

Matthew Seife, of Scarsdale, N.Y., is one of 22 teens awarded a Project VoiceScape filmmaking grant. Matthew is working with mentor Yoni Brook (Bronx Princess) to complete Little Steps, a documentary about a baseball league for children on the Autism spectrum.

Alejandra Gama of Goodyear, Ariz., is one of 22 teens awarded a Project VoiceScape filmmaking grant this year. Her film Right To Be An American, which documents the struggles of children of illegal immigrants in her home state, is now in production under the mentorship of Almudena Carracedo (Emmy winner Made in L.A.).
- Project VoiceScape: Meet Filmmaker Drew Morton Goldsmith
Teen filmmaker Drew Morton Goldsmith of Middleton, Wisc., was a veteran of international film festivals even before he was selected to receive a Project VoiceScape grant. Under the mentorship of documentarian Aaron Matthews, Drew is now completing No Pity, a film about pity-based charities that have infuriated him and his "disabled" peers.

Morgan Wilcock of Minneapolis, Minn., is one of 22 teens awarded a Project VoiceScape filmmaking grant this year. Her documentary This Gay And Age, about the evolving media climate for young gays and lesbians, is now in post-production under the mentorship of Sundance award-winning director Natalia Almada.

Trevor Seines of San Diego, Calif., is one of 22 teens awarded a Project VoiceScape filmmaking grant this year. He's completing his film In Between under the mentorship of documentary director Carlos Sandoval (Farmingville).
