Synopsis

When forty-something filmmaker Anne Makepeace "can't get pregnant the fun way," she turns the camera on herself, her husband and their idiosyncratic siblings and embarks on a tender and tumultuous journey through the complex maze of contemporary fertility science. Called "a fearless, touching account" by The New York Times, this modern day love story gives birth to a frequently funny and disarmingly honest portrait of the rapidly changing American family.
