1. "Landis does Curran"
The following information was found in the Sotheby's catalogue, "American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture," November 30, 2000, that Mark Landis referenced in making his fakes.
ARTIST: Charles Courtney Curran
NAME OF WORK: Three Women
SIZE: 5 1/2 x 9 1/2 in.
MATERIAL: oil on panel
DATE OF ORIGINAL: 1894
Note from Filmmakers: Per Matthew Leininger's research, Landis offered up a copy of this piece to Paul and Lulu Hilliard University Art Museum, University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

2. "Landis does Lepine"
The following information was found in the Christie's catalogue, "Impressionist and Modern paintings and Sculpture (Part II)" November 20, 1986, that Mark Landis referenced when making his fakes.
ARTIST: Stanislas Lepine
NAME OF WORK: Terrassiers, au Trocadero
SIZE: 5.5 x 9.25 in.
MATERIAL: oil on panel
DATE OF ORIGINAL: c. 1890

WORK: A Woman Lying On A Chaise Longue
SIZE: 5 x 7.5 in.
MATERIAL: red and black chalk heightened with white chalk
